Behavioral Health Assessment for Elementary Students

Monday, September 24, 2018

Dear Liverpool Family Member,

In our continuing efforts to be responsive to the well-being of our students, the Liverpool Central School District will soon administer an assessment of behavioral health to all elementary school students. The assessment will involve a brief rating scale to be completed by your child’s classroom teacher. All information will be maintained in a confidential manner. It will help school teams understand the needs of all students and make effective plans to support them, their schools and their classrooms.

The district is always working to support the needs of its school communities including school-wide programs such as the Positivity Project, positive behavior interventions, and social-emotional learning. The information from this brief screening will be used to help create a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
