LHS Student Artwork on Display at SU Gallery

Fourteen Liverpool High School students have been selectedto participate in the 47th Annual Teenage Competitive Art Exhibition at the Community Folk Art Center in Syracuse.
Now through June 15, artwork created by sophomore Tyler Bechard, sophomore Avery Blowers, sophomore Claudia Brown, sophomore Nadia Burton, junior Madison Clere, junior Rosie DenBleyker, sophomore Megan Kuss, sophomore Irene Leung, sophomore Emilie Mussi, sophomore Kady Osborne, junior Mia Spano, junior Max Winchell, junior Sara Wiley and sophomore Jessica Yafchak. They are all students in art teacher Nina Spano’s Drawing & Painting classes at LHS.
The students will be honored during a closing reception on Saturday, June 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Community Folk Art Center, a member of the Syracuse University Coalition of Museum and Art Centers (CMAC), is located at 805 E. Genesee Street (across the street from Syracuse Stage). The Annual Teen Competitive Art Exhibition is the longest running collaborative exhibition in the greater Syracuse area that features the work of underrepresented teen artists.
